Lets try to translate that..
I believe they meant communicate like this..

"I would like to set up a new refugium for cheato and a deep sand bed.
I plan to use a 36 watt pl? light.
Is it ok to run a 400lh powerhead in the fuge.
The size of the fuge is 18" wide by 8 inches long?"

mcgyvr, I think that's a pretty accurate translation. Now what's your answer to the question?

Mine opinion is that the 6" DSB in a fuge with an 18"x8" footprint is unlikely to help a whole lot. It's just barely deep enough and at just one square foot it won't do much to remove nitrates. It will help, just not a lot, depending on how big your Display tank is.

The pump is OK, but even a 100gph pump in a fuge that is less than 10 gallons (1.5'x8"x ? height) may be a bit strong. Just aim it along the side of the tank and not at the chaeto.
