Hi guys, I have 2 ecotech radions on my 120 and I am thinking to add a 2-bulb T5 ho in the front to reduce shadowing.

Since my tank is rimless and I am using radion's rms mounts, I am looking for a 2-bulb fixture with legs, any recommendations for the fixture and bulbs?

thanks

After some research, I think this one may be what I need:

Anyone in the same boat?

or should I go full led and add something like this?

My buddy was in a situation like yours where he had a beautiful rimless tank and two XR30w. Couldn't find a good solution to mount T5 supplements and make it look nice so he ended up getting a 3rd XR30w and turned them to be perpendicular to the length of the tank to alleviate the shadowing.

Thanks, I thought about that, but I still don't think the light is "wide" enough even you add the 3rd one and turn them perpendicular.

Bump.

I think adding the T5 would help with growth as well as help with shading.

This was my solution to adding t5's to my radion

Without a canopy to retrofit something, the aquatic life marquis will really be the best bet in your situation
