Currently running a IM Nuvo 40. I have an MP10wQD running in it right now at reefcrest mode, but I am trying to get more random turbulent flow as I am attempting SPS this time around. Would 2 MP10's be overkill in this tank? Any suggestions?

What are the dimensions? I have two in a 36 bowfront, it's fine, they max out around 70% each

DImensions are 24x20x19.

How do you have them placed? Directly in front of each other or offset?

same height on the offset? I guess it really depends on rockwork though

I too have 2 mp10s in my 24x24x20 and have thought about adding a gyre too.

I personally would get an MP40 and run it at lower intensity. Ive ran smaller tanks and also got the MP10's, but later down the line, if you go with a bigger tank, youll run accross the glass thickness problem with the 10's. The Mp40's also provide wider flow which could improve the movement in the tank also
