So im building my stand thinking about the inside dimensions and I forgot about the up and down braces that go on the inside. im a 1/2 inch off for my sump to fit, any ideas about how i can fix without recutting/rebuilding? http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160925/49d569d444edcd46abe51ce00510ca54.jpg

I can't tell from your pictures how your stand is built or where you need extra room? Much less any ideas to fix it. I'd say if its a 20 gallon tank, you already over built it. If it's a 200 gallon tank, I would use metal.

Take some pictures from further out so we can actually see what's going on. Hard to say anything with the pictures provided. They're too close.

U will be fine without them. It is plenty strong how u have it now so all the extra 2 by 4 will be doing is tying everything in together. If u want them in there just rip a 2 by 4 in half & use that to tye it together.
