I've got a stiff nylon brush that works ok.

I'm thinking about cutting some of the teeth out. Maybe only leave every other one so the skimming is better and gets clogged less.

Funny I never tried the obvious. I have always used long toothpicks. Thanks all.

Hmm, why clean it in the first place???
-Mine have coralline and growth all over it and I just leave it alone.

I also use a toothbrush or the wired brush cleaner things from homebrew shops.

I hardly ever (maybe once every few months... if even that often) have to clean mine, and when I do, I just pull off whatever is causing the problem.

Depends. I tend to let coralline build up on my overflows and it can close off the gaps between the teeth. Requires a bit more than a toothbrush to remove.

Sorry

Don't be.
My dentures are much prettier than the teeth I was given natuarally.

Toothbrush here.

Most people don't realize that it was actually Johnike who named the toothbrush. Otherwise it would be a teethbrush.
