Identity and solution problem algae

Got this turf growing in my frag tank only seem to be growing on my plugs. It very short and dense. I can easily pick it off and can remove about 90% of it with hardly any effort. But with in two weeks it's grown back again..

I don't have an algae problem anywhere else in the tank,, I suspect the plugs are the problem...

I have a Yellow Tang, lawnmower blenny in the tank but they won't touch this algae....any suggest to control it?

Probably turf algae or hair algae. In my experience, turbo snails have worked to remove and control that type of algae. Get one or two big ones.

I have the same problem. Yellow tang, emerald crabs, urchins, and turbo snails won't touch it...
And it's growing FAST
