Wondering if my kole tang has a bacterial or fungal infection? There is something white it has been trying to spit out for a day now. It just got it out but was stuck to its mouth. I lifted it out and pulled off a very small piece of whatever it was. There are no visible signs externally. However, the fish came in last week very thin and hasn't gained much in the week it has been in QT. It is eating both seaweed and NLS pellets. It is very shy. Still looks like once in a while it is trying to spit something out. I paraguard, cupramine, kanaplex and metroplex on hand. As well as NLS Ich shield...

Thoughts?

I cannot think of the name of it, but IME, Kole Tangs can come in with this particular with their mouth. I have used Pimafix and Melafix in combination with each other for about 7days. It was about 12 days once it completely when away. I have heard that problem can come from them scraping on the rocks a when they are eating algae; don't know how true that is.
