Please Help with My Green Fox Coral.....

Green Fox coral not opening, see current photo. I think Coraline Algae grew over the top of it. Will it open, how can I save it? First photo when I purchased it, and second was from last night....

How long have you had this coral? I've never owned a fox coral but IME there should be tissue all over the opening of the skeleton which in the second picture i see absolutely none. On top of that I don't think coraline algae would be growing on the top like that if that coral was still alive. How long has it been closed like that because the pic seems to suggest it's been a while.
