I have a dendro colony that I have been growing out over the last 5 years. I have been feeding him almost every day for the past few months.

Recently, his polyp's tentacles are bubbly and they don't extend like they used to.

He eats well, but just doesn't look the same and continues to lose tissue. He has some brown jelly like substance hanging around some of his polyps. Yesterday, I tried a peroxide dip and immediately his mouths opened up and his tissue became filled with air pockets. His mouths were spewing bubbles and the surface of the container I had him in became filled with mucus.

The dipping solution was roughly 10% peroxide, much weaker than I usually do. I have never seen a coral respond like this to being dipped.

Before things went downhill (after eating, so not fully extended)

Yesterday after a few minutes in a very weak peroxide mix

This morning (same as before the dip)

i think the peroxide has trapped in the skin and has created gas pockets causing more issues.

possibility of overfeeding?

That's what I'm leaning toward right now. I used to feed less, now that I think about it.
