Anybody put there left over frozen fish food back in the fridge and use it again up to several days later? Safe or not safe?

Left over frozen food? How does that happen?

I break off or cut a portion from a large block of frozen food and put the main sheet back in the freezer. I suppose a day or two in the refrigerator unfrozen would be OK. But it also might be kind of smelly?

If you mean, once thawed, then yes I keep left over frozen food in my fridge and keep it at 4C for up to two days without issues. I keep it in an airtight container to minimise contact with air.

I mix up a bunch of different cubes in a jar of water and feed the mixture over the course of 3 or 4 days. It gets stored in the fridge.

This works well for me. I usually throw out the mixture after about three days when the individual components start to lose their shape and dissolve. I like the idea of mixing up different foods and don't have time at 5:00 AM to play chef every day

I will put unused food in the fridge for the next feeding. It's usually gone by the next day.

I use it for 3 or 4 days. It doesn't dissolve. It doesn't stink. It is not bad for the fish.

I use it a few days too.,, just was curious cause ive read some say not to do it cause it loses nutrients and becomes contaminated

I would not do that- food starts to degrade sitting water. Just my .02

Did the food reach room temp? If it did, I'd throw it away. I'd probably toss it anyway.
