Anyone have any suggestions for a sizeable fish for a 4 foot 50 gal. No plans on any SPS so sticking with a few fish and LPS with this tank. I have an orange spotted goby and a molly miller blenny but would like a sizeable fish or two that enjoys moving about. I for certain will avoid tangs for the obvious reasons but any suggestions on something of like size that will thrive in this environment? Not a fan of clowns so 86 that for the moment. Would love to hear your suggestions.

p.s. love my tank and a larger one is not an option

cheers

I would possibly add a cherub or flame anglefish or maybe a flasher wrasse.

Was thinking of a Flame Angel as well. Do they move about a bit? Would like to see some activity in the tank. Goby and Blenny pretty docile most of the time.

They do move around quite a bit, I have had one in my 180 for years. They mostly hug the rockwork, weaving in and out of caves, picking at the rockwork. They are very active.

a pair of swallowtail angels. I keep a male/female pair in my 120.

Not appropriate for a 50 gallon tank.

I'd check out the Fairy Wrasses on LA - lots are appropriate for a 50 and many not aggressive.

+1 and will be more "open swimming" than the flame angel.
