What's up everyone just wanted to share my 1 year old to date micro 30 from innovative marine. Love the tank bought it last this time for my self used on cl for my bday. Came with tank stand 165 eBay light I'm skimmer media basket live rock and a few other things.
Since then I have not change any equipment. Although this year it's my birthday next week I'm thinking about a fancy new light..
I've tossed skimmer as I could never really get it to work. One day beautiful then one day overflowing. So tossed it don't need it.
Media basket I still have and plan on doing some sort of diy fuge in the back as tank getting stocked I think it's time to up the ante a little bit.
As far as fish I have a pair of platinum clowns that have been with me for a year now there awesome eat from hands swim beautifully all is well. Also a nice fair sized coral beauty everyone swims well although it hides a bit more. They eat pellets frozen mysis and live brine shrimp time too time.
I also have two stars a blue linkia I believe and a necklace star or the white and red one with tiles lol but both beautiful the blue one has been with me about 3 months goes all over on glass a lot but def all over. The red one I just picked a few days ago.
I have 6 peppermint shrimp now for about 2 months all alive and eating all my apistisia is gone and if one pops up it never has a chance! Crawl on my hands it's crazy.
Clean up crew just snails and hermits and a green emerald crab that's sometimes blue eats up any and all green stuff that trust too bubble up. About 6 months with me.
Corals I have a mixed reef. I have lots of different zoa's all on rock very few on plugs. I used to pull off plugs and attach to rocks no glue just stick them in. Hole and few months later rocks are covered it's a beautiful thing. All different colors I don't keep track of names but I don't have anything too fancy but I'm good with that it's very healthy and works for my zoa's and palys. A couple montis I have red, green, purple and a rainbow with blue base yellow reds pinks very nice all grow very well any that I have added have doubled or tripled in size since purchasing. I have three yumas two that are green with gold rips and another that's more on the blue side. I have a hammer coral has two heads and has not gotten any bigger over the but has not died either. I have few sps frags in tank. All were taking off plug and stuck in a hole to encrust and it worked out well. Of maybe ten frags I still have 8 all fully encrusted and growing with these it seems there happy but I really don't have strong colors I get PE and growth but just not strong colors hopefully it will help. I'm sure I have other things but just a description. I'm no scientific guy.
Chems I use all seachem salinity stuff. The salt reef fuel and vibrance also ions. I dose a cap fuel of each randomly throughout the week.
