Hey everyone,

I've had this Achilles Tang Hybrid in QT (15 Days Paraguard + 3 Prazi Rounds and 45 day in Cupramine (.5)).

At the end of last week he just started laying down and I pulled him out of that QT and put him in a clean 20 gallon QT (no copper).

I've been treating him with Paraguard daily and I haven't noticed much improvement in the wound. He did perk up and start eating / swimming around after 2 or 3 days of Paraguard.

Just wondering what my course of treatment should be... and also what it is...

This is likely bacterial, possibly even vibrio. Treatment should be with strong broadband antibiotics.
At the same time I would feed immune boosters like beta glucan.

You may need something stronger at this stage.

Hey everyone, he's looking a lot better after two rounds of Furan-2.

I'm doing a water change today and then will do the next two rounds of Furan-2.

Thanks :)

Hopefully in a week or two he'd be ready to go into the display...

Here he is from last night...

Looking much much better after 2 full rounds of Furan-2.

Will wait for his bottom fin to grow over the bone and then put him in the display.
