View Full Version : Help me pick my lights

So the tank is 3 feet long by 2 feet wide and 18 inches tall. I am struggling to pick out what lighting u want for it and would love some advice.

Reefbreeder photon 32 v2 with t5 supplement( maybe actinics not yet decided)

Option 2:
Kessil ap700 with mounting arms, this is a lot more expensive so I'm not sure I can justify it considering it may need t5 too

Option 3:
A radion xr30 with a reef link. This would allow me to have better control over my mp40 as well although I'm not sure one radion would be adequate by itself

We do not carry options 1 and 2
You can not beat Ecotech Radions for lighting your aquarium
For option 3:

The XR30 G4 PRO will provide you with a legitimate 30 X 30 coverage and up to a 36 X 36 coverage area. Mounting the light 12 inches above the water would provide you with enough coverage on the aquarium to reach that 36 length. The best option would be to go with two of the XR15 G4 Pros. Each XR15 G4 Pro will provide a 24 X 24 coverage area and have plenty of power to reach that depth. Two XR15s would provide nice even light and par distribution over that entire aquarium.

If you plan on going with sps corals I would lean towards the 2 lights
for soft corals the single light would be fine
