When you tank starts to slip...

Various issues and none are really a 911 emergency. Some GHA (back on GFO). I thought I could contain some Xenia to an isolated island, my tux urchin had other ideas. Vermatid snails getting out of control.
Overwhelming to think of getting it all "fixed" at once. One at a time? Or a single big Saturday adventure?

Hi mpderksen,

Sorry to read your tank is overwhelming you. When my 46g was overwhelming me and slipping I set up a 120g and tore down the 46g. Aiptasia was driving me crazy with the never ending back and forth battle. If you have room for a fish and no strong ties to CUC you could get a nice non reef safe wrasse or a reef safe one that will make short work of those vermatid snails. Not sure one big effort on a Saturday would do it all. What's your plan for the ever growing Xenia?

I feel your pain with the Vermatid snailsm I recently just bought Aiptasia X, and I will be trying to take out as many snails as I can

The tank is still very nice, and I am proud of it. But this stuff feels like I'm right at the edge of a cliff

Kind words, thank you. Listening to the veterans here made all the difference (and a large budget). The thing that amazes me is that there is always something new to learn. If the 180gallon upgrade ever happens, I'll be a newbie all over again.
