Rock flower and maxi mini anems together?

Can you keep rock flower and maxi mini anems in close/touching proximity?

I'm going to be setting up a jbj 3 gal pico.

The flower will it compete the minis. ..I have had both in the same tank. . Not touching though. .. the minis grow fairly slow and reproduce/split even slower. ... the flowers on the other hand grew like wild fire... they both pack about the same punch in terms of sting. . So I don't know which would kill the other. .. our if they would coexist

Thanks, I didn't know about the difference in growth/multiplication rate. This is a good start.
