Hey Guys,

I found a couple of these crawling around my tank and at first thought they were baby snails which was very cool. After further investigation I don't think they are. I just don't know what they could be. My research leads me to believe either Sundials (which I hope not) or Colonistas. I do have a lot of Zoa's and have been having issues with some of them. So I'm not surprised if they are Sundials.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

I agree - Collonistas are smaller and their shells are rounded on top.

Thought so. Is there any benefit to keeping them? Maybe for a QT?

I don't think so. Even if you do put it in the QT the minute you use any medication the snail will probably die. Just throw it over your shoulder and move on. ;)

I agree Sundial as well. Personally I would just get rid of it.

Side note, we have LFS, that was insistent that they were great snails for our reef tank. I posted on here because I wasnt sure and needless to say it came out and was gone that same day.
