first off a little info on the build.
im getting 2 55 gallon tanks for cheap ( ie trading 40lbs of live rock for it.)
there dimension are 5' x 15" x 15" with corners drilled.
my only concerns with this build is pretty much everything. i will also be locating the sump in my basement ( first tank will be 7 feet below the tank and 10 feet over)

here is my design please let me know if you see any failures. and also tips for the build

I don't like the trap draining the first sump into the second, it's a disaster waiting to happen. Extend a pipe up to the water level you want and eliminate the right hand side baffle in the first sump, no trap. I would also add a second emergency drain from the first to the second sump with that drain perhaps 3/4" higher than the primary drain. I would separate the other equipment from the skimmer with a baffle, the effluent from some reactors can effect the skimmers performance making it hard to dial in consistent skimmate production.

make sure your ato sensor is in the return section, its a little hard to tell where its going in your drawing.

also, make sure you leave enough drain space in the bottom sump for powerdown draining. you are probably going to end up with a LOT of water in there.

yeah i have to try and do a bit of math but im hoping to have roughly 30 gallons of power down draining space. since i don need much water height for the equipment
