So I stupidly siliconed the bulkheads onto the bottom of my tank, it's only on the bottom
Is there anyways to get this silicone off and removed the bulkheads without ruining the tank? This is a 180 eurobraced really nice tank so it's very important I get these off so I can move the tank when I move in a month.
Please let me know any suggestions. 361658

bust them loose, pull out what you can, take a razor blade and carefully scrape away the rest.
i got my current tank tank used, the previous owner had siliconed the bulkheads in to place. it took a lot of time and cursing, but i was able to get almost all of it off using that technique.

Razor blades and a lot of patients. Silicone grabs glass like a mf.

I purchased a 75 where the former owner screwed the bulkheads up with silicone. I used a sharp chisel to clear out the heavy stuff (no banging mind you) The sharp chisel is a sturdy scraper with good reach and control for me. Scrape only as horizontal as you can. Then a razor blade for most of the rest and vinegar to clean the remainder off of the glass.
It was clean as a whistle when I got done.
Gook luck.
