So I picked this up and see it has copper in it.

is this safe? I have to assume it is since it's for reef tanks but I have inverts.

There is no reason to dose trace elements. Aside from the big 3 (CA, ALK, MG) there are few elements that you should be dosing and then only if you have specific reason*(eg. Iron for macro's or an ATS). You are asking for imbalances if you start with that stuff.

Copper is a trace element..
Many reef additives contain copper in some amount..
In trace amounts its not a problem..
