I came into my office and did my usual tank check and low and behold two conchs are going at it and have been for the past half hour.

I did some searching and I can't find anything about the odds of the baby conchs a) hatching and b) surviving. Anyone know?

Read page 771 http://aquaticcommons.org/13978/1/gcfi_56-69.pdf looks to me that the odds of them surviving in the tank are slim because of their nutrient needs but if you took the time to harvest the eggs and provide a sandy environment for their shell growth maybe it would work

it would be interesting to see if you can get some babies to develop.

Thanks for this info.

If I can find the egg sack I will put it in a QT tank and try to raise them. I know my odd are slim but it will be fun to try.
