My ro system has an alkaline filter which adds back calcium potassium and so on. Is good for top off?

you need to top off with an rodi water, a unit specifically made for saltwater tanksis best. the ro units make for drinking water, believe it or not wont take out everything , making the not good enough to be safe for saltwater reef tank
yes my fish drink better water than me

It's in my kitchen and I use it to drink and cook.

If you want to make true RO/DI water with your system then you can "T" off after the 4th stage on your unit and run it through a separate DI stage for "0 TDS" water..
This is all you need to purchase..

and this

The current system you have is really intended to produce "drinking water" for human consumption.. Its not "ideal" for a reef tank..

Yup that's an option.
