I would be interested in seeing a pic of this one "Banana Lokani (Yellow smooth skin deep water)" . I purchased a few in the past, but all were green at the time of purchase with the promise that it would turn yellow one day. They all stayed green for me :(

I'll let you know when it colors back up. I got it from "Your Reef", they told me it's mostly yellow but can shift to green very quickly. They told me keep it in medium light, medium flow, and it likes between 2-5ppm N03.

I think 90% of the fish being sold were designer clowns.
Age was the only setup selling other fish

Most of us are suspecting MACNA having just happened so soon.

My first time to Raps...I bought some corals but I was expecting fish as well. Was hoping to go home with purple tang, powder blue, achilles...not even close...lol. Disappointed with fish selection. Overall it was ok but I expected more with all the hype.

I always go for the speakers but, there weren't many. I was told due to MACNA it was difficult to get speakers to come back to Socal. I got some Tigger Pods! Was told that Reef Nutrition's booth was ransacked while the guy went to the raffle. He told me that they were all displays that were way expired and good luck to the people that stole his stuff! Really nice guy was giving out a lot of free stuff. Instant Karma is going to get someone...

I think with Macna and it being close to Thanskgiving, it wasn't as big as last year.
I did snag a bunch of zoa's, rainbow stylo, maxima clam and an acan.

It was a challenge to say the least, but giving the circumstances I think it was a very successful Reef-A-Palooza.
We don't have control as to who brings what. This year, the stores that normally bring fish elected not to exhibit with us this year. Given the awesome turnout we had last weekend, I'm sure they will be back.
SCMAS works very hard to bring Southern California one of the best aquarium shows in the entire country. Each year we try our best to improve the show, and we really appreciate the feedback we receive.

I agree, under the circumstances it was a good turnout. Nice to see BRS make it out too.
btw, those Bam Bam zoa's I got from you last reefaplooza are still going strong!

Right on! I still have some hanging on in my temporary tank... I've been neglecting it a bit lately with all I've had going on. Oldies but goodies.

I drove 350 miles one way and thought it was totally worth it. Even though my back was hurting, I had a blast!

That is awesome. Glad to hear it.
Next year's even is at the Anaheim Hilton. So you'll have awesome accommodations on your next visit.

I thought it was a great show. I picked up 6 challices, 5 or 6 zoa frags. A torch and frog spawn, rock anemone, a really nice BTA a magnetic frag rock, 10 snails & 10 hermits, frag cutters, and a few other things. All at very good prices I think.
I also won 2 buckets of salt, 3 collapsible 5 gallon water jugs, and a Reef Nutrition sampler pack on Saturday. Sunday I introduced a friend and his wife to the hobby. They were very impressed with the show.

I picked up a copperish (pink/orange w/grn polyps) mille, meteor shower cyphastrea, mystic sunset monti and a multi colored zoa frag. I would've been happy with all mille's, but my son picked everything out. Not bad for a nine year old. Plus, we took a picture with Brett and Wade from "tanked", which according to my son, "it was the best day ever"! If I didn't buy anything , it would've been worth the trip just to see the smile on my son's face after meeting Brett and Wade.
It was nice seeing BRS there, got a couple free T's from them. I'm down with Anaheim next year.
