2 Ai prime or radio xr15 pro?? IM 25 lagoon [Archive]

HI,

So currently I have 2 Ai prime HD on my shallow tank. However I will be picking up an Radio xr15 pro gen 4 this Thursday. I currently have an MP10QD and want to make this 75% sps. Params are good and have a dose coming in. Which light will be best for my nano to grow sps

I would use the 2 prime HDs, since you can space them apart more. One light would be harder than 2 for even spread and even growth, IMO.

I do have to agree with you there. Hmmm. I was also talking to the guy and he said I can pick up a gen3 30 pro for the same price.

+1 on the primes make one of them the HD model and then you can make the other one HD as well.

Thank you for the input good sir :) it looks like I'm going to deny the seller for the radion and work with both primes.

Using both over the years Ild go with the two primes for above listed reasons. Mainly the separation of the two lights. I like the prime software alot more than the radion but it was just minor glitches that set it apart. From all the TOTM and major systems Ive seen multiple light sources work out very well.

Ty nick, I went ahead and got myself 2 ai prime. And I must say I have no shadows and the corals are loving it. Thank you for your feedback bud! HAPPY REEFING

not to hijack your thread, but i have the nuvo fusion 20 gallon, and I currently have one AI prime. I do have shadows on the sides. I am thinking about either getting another AI Prime or I can give my current AI prime to my friend and he has an one month old Hydra 26 HD that I can have for 100 bucks. What do you guys think?
