Hey guys I just picked up a male crosshatch for my 180, I'm pretty new to the hobby but I need some help. I have him in a QT tank before he goes in my DT but I can't seem to get him to start eating, any suggestions? I've had him 4 days now. Thank you for any help

Triggers are notorious for acting like this. Try clams on the half shell or small chunks of fresh shrimp

Keep trying. It took my Bluethroat awhile to start eating. I finally got him to eat with some fresh clams from my local supermarket.

My Huma loved live guppies and an occasional gold fish.

sadly, large males do not ship well and it often comes down to who collected it... size? where did you get it?
