Vertex calcium reactor busted

I bought vertex calcium reactor 6d from a reefer at r2r forum and when I setting up this reactor the bottom of the main chamber popped off while I filling the chamber and I use masterflex peristaltic pump as a feed pump can anyone tell me why this happen or cause I bought bad reactor thank you for any help
