I noticed two tiny black things growing on the rock of my Xenia frag. They were not there before. Anyone know what are those?

Right is a vermetid snail.. can't see the left well enough to see if its the same or not..
Best to remove those snails before they irritate corals.. (scraper to pry it off,etc..)
bookmark for future use..

Do you think they hitchhiking the rock that came with the xenia frag? I don't have any other frag and snail. Both the clown and the xenia frag are in QT tank now.

It came on the frag rock..
Very common..

I have some in my tank and I usually don't worry about them but if you see its best to just remove them.. I find they don't cause any problems but many have claimed they can "irritate" corals,etc.. with the mucus net,etc.. that they expel..
Its really no big deal but just pop it off and go about your day.. :)

Colour me strange, but I like to watch them 'cast their net' and then reel in the bounty.

I killed it with pliers. Hope they don't come back. Glad that I spotted them while in QT tank

I just put superglue over them

Why not removing them instead of gluing them in place?
