There are little-curled things that are coming out of the side of some of my frogspawn. They kinda look bristled at the very base (hard to see in pic). They look like they are attached. I'm thinking its a new head starting, but I cannot be sure as it is so small. Any ideas?:confused:

looks like a vermetid snail

Yep. Vermetid snail. Just scrape it off of the base. They will send out little mucus lines to catch food in the current but it also irritates the corals as well.

Thank You! I have noticed the little mucus they send out! I thought i was just seeing things like a hair in the tank or algae! I think you are spot on!
