Is there a way to remove the black part of the led cover? Havent taken mine off to look yet, but have been thinking about adding lights back there.

Yes, it easily sands off.

And do you polish it to make it clear? Seems sand paper would scratch the acrylic.Tempted to buy a replacement cover to experiment with.

I would recommend polishing to make it clear if you're planning on using that space.

I have a second cover that I got from Soulpatch that I never got around to using for the mod I was planning. They're around, just keep your eyes and ears out. Lots of people buy biocubes and end up doing DIY or pendants for lighting.
