Scaffolding Tank Stand

Would you build a stand out of scaffolding like this, it seems extremely strong.

I would then use a laminated countertop from lowes for the table top of my stand. Add in that foil adhesive for underneath the countertop to protect from humidity.

In the example I linked to I would add an additional vertical brace between end posts as needed and additional horizontals under the countertop. Seems like an extremely strong, open, and easy way to build stands.

There is a Tank BUILD on here using this i seen it yesterday..

I think it would also look awesome.. Well up until you said Laminate counter top.. Check at like GOOD WILL Store and garage sales salvage lumber places and see if you can find a old solid wood top. it would look much nicer. But the laminate if supported with 1x4 between the mdf and the metal it could work...
