I've had this happen to my calcium pump twice now :mad2: Both times I've dumped way too much alkalinity into the tank and my calcium ended up tanking all the way down to 330 over a few days of not dosing, alk went all the way to 13+. Messed up a return pump and some other equipment. At any rate, the dosing pump still spins and kicks on like it should be working, its just not pushing any liquid. I've tried to make sure all connections are tight and I think they are. Current setup consists of a 5 gallon bucket with one of those push fittings in the top lid. It all seems secure. Anyone have any ideas? Should I just get an Apex Dos?

How old is it? Did you replace the tube? You're supposed to every 12-18 months.

Rigid tubing to push fitting in all the way?

Its pushing 12 months old so I guess its getting close to time. It's ordered, hopefully it fixes it. Easier to spend $12 than $300 on a dos.
