Crack has appeared in black aquarium frame that I got off of craigslist. It was fine when I picked it up. Not sure what to do! Its a 65 gallon.

The crack is in the center backside on the black frame. It runs down the center support a little bit too. The corners of the tops of the aquarium seen to be cracking too, but not all the way.

I would replaced both the top and bottom frames or buy a whole new tank. Not worth risking.

Sadly this is a sign of an old tank or a tank that was not properly picked up or a combo of both. Plastic trim blows and the lighting can dry out the plastic trim which will crack fairly easy after time. I've patched center braces with JB weld epoxy before and it works well if that's the only crack. However, you have multiple cracks and it would be best to replace the top and bottom trim.

If you know who made the tank you can contact them as see if you can buy new ones. If not then you can try a couple sites.
