Par38 success with nano tank??

Looking to start my first ever nano tank (spec v)on an extreme budget I was wondering about these par38 bulbs and if anyone has had success with them in nano tanks? What are the positives and negatives and are people really getting good growth out of them?

I use one over a 10 gallon tank. The first I got from Rapid Led, it failed after about a year, started blinking over and over. Got a cheap ebay replacement. Both have done fine with coral growth, but I only have mushrooms, star polyps and trumpet corals in there. One disappointment is the spread, it doesn't cover enough, I really need two to cover a 10 gallon tank.

Which ones did you get? I'm looking at them for a 29 gallon. Looking to have some softies as well as mushrooms and some polyps
