All-enclosed tank?

Thinking of adding a small nano to my kids room. The misses is insisting it be fully enclosed. She's worried about splashing and salt creep. Looked into the Fluval Evo, but it has to sit peninsula style and that won't work for the room. And those biocubes are ugly.

Any other options out there?

Haha that's a personal opinion that biocubes are ugly many consider them the sleekest all in one tank for their price. They really are effective with room for filtration. What size of tank are you looking for?

Innovative marine makes a pretty nice 10 gallon AIO. Pair it with a kessil A80 and you could have an awesome little mixed reef.

If Toddler thru pre school age i would only do this if you can put a Plexiglas enclosure around it .Our son was very well behaved and knew when he was not supposed to do something,But kids by nature just want to put there hands on everything.. I say this not in concern for the tank but the safety of the child....
a bio cube and rig some type of lock on the top would prob work as well... would not do glass . anything of the size i think your considering would be very thin glass flying toys happen

Kids are 8 and 10. No worries about that.

What size of tank are you looking for?

20-ish gallons. Love the Nuvo 20s, but they aren't enclosed.

I think the biocubes come stock with vent fans. I modded the one in my son's room so I could use a Kessil gooseneck - just covered the opening with bird netting.

A glass top is not impossible if you use LED and watch your heat.
