Help my cc starfish was behind filter for a few days and then I just found my spider crab on top of it and it looks like her arm is going to break off what can I do to help? Checked parameters everything is normal except nitrates are 20 and it's moving but not wanting to eat even when I put food directly underneath it moves away from it

Salinity could be the issue. I believe stars are very sensitive to high salinity.

Sudden changes in salinity will do that.
How do you top off the evaporated water?
Salt build up falling into the tank?

With ro fresh water salinity/specific gravity is pretty constant at 1023 I think I found out the culprit I have a spider crab that was attacking it crab is removed and I think the spots are healing and it's finally eating again
