White Fuzz/Hair on Live Rock

Hey everyone,

I'm fairly new to reefing (1yr or so) and have noticed a white fuzz/hair that is growing on a few small sections of my live rock.

I'll attach a picture, I would love to know what it is and if its bad how to treat it!

It's hard to be sure. If it seems to have openings here and there, it might be a sponge. If it's more like a blob, I'd suspect bacteria. Some other types of bacteria and algae can look fuzzy, along with a very long list of other organisms.
