They are small. A couple mm generally. Never noticed before today - but today I see at least 30 of the spread around on the glass.

looks like a flatworm, they are considered pests but i cannot find exactly what they damage as much as they reproduce quickly

Thank you - after a bunch more google digging I think I turned this up.

Convolutriloba retrogemma

Man - there are a TON of different flatworms and nudiranches to dig through when trying to identify.

Looks like I'll be able to control them - hopefully - and from what I can tell they aren't a risk outside of overpopulation.

The issue I had with flat worms was the gather on soft corals and started to completely cover some nice mushrooms. They weren't doing anything to the mushroom, but they were blocking all the light and that stopped all the photosynthesis.

Flatworm exit , carbon and a reactor are on the way. Would rather get them taken care of now then after my upgrade.

New ( to me ) skimmer finally got rocking today as well so hopefully going from under skimming to over slimming will help some as well.
