Hello all My Clove polyps are not doing well and look like they have some algae growing on them .
is there anything I should do to bring them back and get better growth ? Coral dip them ? soft toothbrush any thoughts ?

reduce phosphates and or nitrates to reduce/eliminate algae issues...

Your rocks are all green man..
How old is the tank?

Test was done by aquamedicwatertesting.com
Tank is about year and a half old

Yeah well with green rocks I doubt thats a true/useful number..

Many claim the algae "consumes it" so quick from the water that the tests don't give a valid or useful number..

Do you run GFO?
Might want to look into that..

How does everything else in your tank look? FWIW these things have always been real temperamental for me. I wouldn't dip them or use a brush just yet, but you might want to find them a new spot for a couple weeks or so and see how they respond. (more light/flow)

Honestly I'd be thankful. Clove polyps are considered a pest by many reefers as they have a large tenancy to take over everything.
