In the last week we have noticed these white spots on our leather coral. Are these spots where new fingers will grow, shedding, or something else?

What exactly do you have in your tank? It almost looks like something is picking at it IMO.

Might have been the filefish which we removed. Don't think it was the Wrasses or tangs.

It looks annoyed. Sometimes my hermits crawl on my leathers and pick food and algae off them. They look pretty annoyed but they bounce back nicely.
