Hi all,

I'm considering adding a Biota striped fang blenny (Meiacanthus grammistes) to my 90g reef and am hoping for some advice from any fang blenny owners out there.

Anyone have any experience keeping these or other Meiacanthus species with mandarins? I have read they have a pretty varied diet in the wild but I've got the impression from somewhere that they are pretty efficient pod hunters?

Tankmates are 2 x ocellaris clowns / 2 x banggai / 1 x coral beauty / 1 x green mandarin

The only other fish I was planning to add was an orchid dottyback, any comp issues between the blenny and dotty? I guess they are a fairly similar shape which may be an issue?

And lastly, thoughts on adding with the established angel? The angel is also from Biota and still tiny (5-6cm) but I haven't added anything since it went in so not sure how aggressive it will be.

Thanks

Nick
