I want my water change station in my basement utility room. Problem is it's obviously on another floor and across the house a long ways. What kind of pump and hose could I use to pump say 100 ft and up a story? Would also like to use the same pump to just mix the salt water and just turn a few valves to fill display tank.

Probably a Pan World thru PVC the same size as the exit of the pump, then a hose for the last length.
Check their flow charts for a pump, or someone else will chime in.

I'll second Vinny. Whatever the equivalent of the Iwaki RLT's (high head pumps) are dependent on how fast you want to move that water. Hard plumb with PVC and flexible PVC all the way. You might also consider running a power cord along with it so that you can turn the pump on/off from the tank.

I use a mag18 that stays in the mixing barrel. It is hard plumbed to both the FT in the basement and to the DT in the living room.
