Does anyone know of any good websites to get rare wrasse from? I check divers den everyday but sometimes the prices are just to high. So if anyone knows a good person to buy from online could you link them? And also did Pacific Island Aquatics go out of business again?

If they are rare expect to pay the right price.

Which 'rare' wrasses are you considering?

I need to go to local fish store have them order them, and watch them for a few weeks before I buy wrasse.

Personally, if I go to the LFS and see a fish that looks good and is eating, I'd rather buy him on the spot, than let it spend another day in the store...every shipment they get could possibly bring in more problems!

PIA is back in business. They opened, got quiet for a little bit, and are now posting stuff regularly. Check them out on Facebook.

Most places will be able to get those wrasses pretty easily. Keep a lookout on DD for ease or just contact your LFS

Buy the cheaper female/juvi, they'll cost less and change to male soon enough

Really like these fourline wrasses. My LFS has one in his main display - really a stunner. L.A. doesn't sell them. Saltwaterfish.com has some in right now:

Your LFS can likely get any of these in. Though, all of them are expensive fish to begin with (Flame probably the cheapest of the 3) so I wouldn't expect any smokin' deals. As someone else suggested, buying a female instead of a male will save you a little $$ too. I've seen at least a couple occasions where regular Live Aquaria had flame wrasses on sale so that might be something to keep an eye out for. They also have % off coupons that circulate periodically.

Last time one was on DD was Dec 19th 2014
IIRC in the area where they are common collection isn't exactly allowed. Good luck ;)

Email Pacific Island Aquatics. Pretty sure they have all of those in stock now. I just got a shipment from them last week.
