Local hardware store a basic light in like the 10k spectrum. Cost you a few bucks probably.

When I first set up my tank I added some Chaeto with a spiral CFL 6500k. The Chaeto just withered away and died, after a couple bunches i gave up. Then, a few months later, after i was sure i had some nitrates and phosphates (had a small algae outbreak) i decided to try again. I researched a ton of lights, some people said they used high tech expensive LEDs some cheapo cfls and i was left confused. I decided just to go for it with the cheap route and I bought a daylight (5000k) 15 watt led from home depot, link below, along with a clip on reflector and my Chaeto doubles in size in a matter of a few days. The point of my story is that most any bulb will grow Chaeto as long as you have the nutrients. If your Chaeto doesn't grow, its probably not the bulb, and probably not a bad thing.
