Hi
I noticed today when i came home my 2 tangs came out with these blemeshes and white spots?

is it white spot or ich?

My tank is about a year old and is a sumped 300 liters.

I bought the tangs bought about week ago and my sailfin has not got anything on it (yet)

What causes this and how can i treat it

I have odinex treatment but not sure if i should put in display tank or quarantine tank as i have corals and inverts, although box says its reef safe.

Any advice and help appreciated.

looks like ich could also be velvet. Is it scratching against the rocks?

If they are in your main tank you should take them out, treat them with cupramine and leave your main tank fishless for about 3 months.

Thats the general rule around here.

the regal tang is scratching and eating wel and the powder blue hardly eating but no scratching

i have 2 clowns in main display as well as angel and sailfin those seems ok

I now took out the 2 infected fish and put in separate tank

shall i take out the sailfin and treat it although not infected

Yes, take out all fishes and let your DT fallow 90 days. If you use copper to treat your fishes, you must have copper test kit

Best of luck

Update...
Friday I took the Powder blue and Regal out and put it in a quarantine tank.
The Sailfin was a ***** to catch, took me over an hour poor thing must have been stressed.
I went to LFS and they had Oodinex on the shelf and bought that.
Dosed the treatment in quarantine tank for 3 days and all spots are clear on all tangs. seems to have worked
Powder blue is shy and hides away when you go near the tank as well as the regal but all fishes seem to be eating fine, (mysis, pellets)
I will keep them in quarantine for now and see how it goes
Clowns looks healthy and eating and no signs of spots as well as the angel which are currently in display tank.
Hopefully things will go better, will keep you posted
Thanks all

You didn't treat all the fish that were with the tangs?
