I have a 210 gallon tank, 72 x 24 x 29 and two Photon 32 V2 fixtures. This is how I hung them.

Consider sliding them as far forward as you can in the canopy and then tip up the back side of the fixture (shims?). You get better lighting up front and less shadow from over hangs or coral ledges.

Good idea, I already have them a little further front than middle. Will give it a shot.

Do you get a lot of condensation with that canopy?

I agree I keep mine slightly tipped up also

I thought it worked quite well when I had the old fixture hanging inside a canopy over my old tank. But with the new tank I use the V2 on it's legs and tipping the fixture is a bit more problematic. You have to 'kind of' force the legs to get much tip and then the fixture kind of looks funny over the tank sitting cockeyed. It was OK when it was inside a canopy hidden away.

I get some, but not much. I have some slots cut for venting, but I should probably add a small fan for air circulation.
I had a fan on my 55 gallon canopy and it was on a timer so it only ran when the lights were on.

of course it is super easy to do this if you have them hanging on wires...good idea, I must do it as I suffer a bit from shading I dont want.

Cut out my hood to have my V2-50 flush with the top. Sleek and well ventilated. I might have gone with the Aquasense, but it came out after I bought. That said, I've been VERY happy with this light!
