Sump set up?

Basic yes, doesn't allow much for growth but this will work.

Instead of a spot for Carbon/GFO, I'd just open that space up a little wider so you have room for one or more pumps, and run this items in a reactor. I have my reactor pump sitting in between the refugium weir and the return chamber.

Not sure how you'd fit carbon and gfo in there. It seems pretty tight so you wouldn't get much in there.
