Silly me updated my led and skimmer at the same time and now my sps are getting pale 2 weeks after the change.

I was using radion G1 at 70% and after switching to G4 pro I started at 45%.
The skimmer I upgraded to a Coralbox cloud 9 from a SWC160

params:
ca 430
alk 8
mg 1200
no3 under 5
po4 0.03 -0.1 cannot really tell

The sps still have colors but much lighter, example, the red becomes light pink.
I wonder how to tell if it's a lighting problem or nutrient?

Sounds like too much light to me, especially if you increased the intensity of the white LED's on the G4. Feeding more should let you know if it's the nutrients.

Light.. for sure..

Upgrading a skimmer will certainly not do much if any in such a short time..

U might want to turn down the lights before sps starts pealing
