what are your water parameters, tank specs and inhabitants?

Pictures of tank? When was the last water change done? How much do you feed?

Siphon it out during water changes then do a 3 day lights out then siphon again..(<-- non-chemical treatment option)

Or use "ultralife red slime remover or chemiclean" per the directions (<--chemical treatment option)

Note: The red slime is cyanobacteria and it can be a fairly normal "stage" in a new tank that can just go away on its own..

Do NOT use remover or chemiclean unless you have a good skimmer and good flow.

Keep your media fresh, do routine water changes, and don't feed more than what your inhabitants can eat..
