Why is my new octopus skimmer shooting out so many micro bubbles? It's brand new.

It is totally normal. Will not harm anything and will go away as Skimmer breaks in.

Thanks again Skim. I've read that micro bubbles can be harmful to corals? So i shut it off and waited on some answers from my post. It just looks cloudy in the display tank with all the micro bubbles.

Had a classic 110 on my 30 gal and never had problems with micro bubbles. My new prime 150 for my 80 gal was a different story, lot's of micro bubbles till it broke in and have never had a problem since.

Well who knows things change so much in this Hobby, one day it's the a must and then it's the biggest thing to stay away from. If you look now many are using Nanobubbles in their Tanks in lights off mode. They say it helps the Corals sloth off unwanted mucus and helps clean them.
