Powerhead placement help please

Hey guys I'm just wondering about my powerhead it is a jvc I'm pretty sure umm 3000L/H now is that to powerful? I have it pointing up or should I point it right straight across need some pointers thanks

Pictures would be helpful and someone may be able to help with direction, have no idea what your tank looks like and the type of scape you have?? type of corals? Tank size?

Picture is upside down. Looking closely, it's okay pointing towards front bouncing of arch of glass(imo)
